Ce qui a commenc\u00e9 comme des familles \u00e0 la recherche de r\u00e9ponses s\u2019est transform\u00e9 en un organisme vou\u00e9 \u00e0 la sensibilisation, aux soins, \u00e0 la recherche et \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 pour les Canadiens touch\u00e9s par le syndrome de Rett. <\/div><div data-end=\"416\" data-start=\"148\" aria-hidden=\"true\"> <\/div><div data-end=\"867\" data-start=\"418\">Au cours des trois derni\u00e8res d\u00e9cennies et demie, ORSA a contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 sortir le syndrome de Rett de l\u2019isolement et \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9grer dans des conversations plus larges. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ses efforts d\u2019\u00e9ducation et de sensibilisation, ORSA a favoris\u00e9 une meilleure compr\u00e9hension de cette affection neurod\u00e9veloppementale rare et complexe. En mettant en relation des familles de partout au pays, ORSA a cr\u00e9\u00e9 une communaut\u00e9 forte o\u00f9 les familles peuvent partager leurs exp\u00e9riences, leurs connaissances et leur soutien, afin que personne n\u2019ait \u00e0 affronter seul le syndrome de Rett.  <\/div><div data-end=\"867\" data-start=\"418\" aria-hidden=\"true\"> <\/div><div data-end=\"1264\" data-start=\"869\">La d\u00e9fense des int\u00e9r\u00eats a toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 au c\u0153ur du travail de l\u2019ORSA. L\u2019organisation a collabor\u00e9 avec des d\u00e9cideurs \u00e0 plusieurs niveaux pour faire pression en faveur de politiques, de financement et de reconnaissance qui tiennent compte des besoins permanents des personnes atteintes du syndrome de Rett. <\/div><div data-end=\"1264\" data-start=\"869\">ORSA a \u00e9galement soutenu les familles dans leurs d\u00e9marches aupr\u00e8s des syst\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9, d\u2019\u00e9ducation et sociaux, en s\u2019effor\u00e7ant de r\u00e9duire les lacunes dans l\u2019acc\u00e8s aux services et aux soutiens. ORSA a jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le important dans l\u2019avancement des soins cliniques et de la recherche au Canada en soutenant la recherche ax\u00e9e sur le syndrome de Rett et les essais cliniques, en faisant la promotion de l\u2019expertise clinique et en renfor\u00e7ant les liens avec la communaut\u00e9 scientifique et de d\u00e9fense des droits. Aujourd\u2019hui, ORSA continue de plaider pour un acc\u00e8s \u00e9quitable et rapide aux th\u00e9rapies et aux traitements \u00e9mergents afin que les Canadiens aient la possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019en b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier, peu importe o\u00f9 ils vivent. <\/div><div data-end=\"1264\" data-start=\"869\" aria-hidden=\"true\"> <\/div><div data-is-only-node=\"\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-end=\"1999\" data-start=\"1678\">Alors que nous revenons sur ces 35 ann\u00e9es, nous rendons hommage aux familles qui ont ouvert la voie, aux b\u00e9n\u00e9voles et aux dirigeants qui ont donn\u00e9 de leur temps et de leur c\u0153ur, et \u00e0 la communaut\u00e9 qui continue de faire entendre sa voix. Le travail n\u2019est pas termin\u00e9, mais gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ORSA Canada, les familles ne sont plus seules et l\u2019avenir offre plus de possibilit\u00e9s que jamais.
